The Operations Manager is responsible foverseeing daily manufacturing , ensuring efficiency, quality, safety while meeting production targets. This role reports to Plant Manager the incumbent will be involved in optimizing processes driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity drive efficiency improvement. The incumbent is expected to implement continuous improvement strategies to meet production targets while fostering a culture of accountability. While each day brings new opportunities at SPX.
Key Responsibilities :
Production Management:
1. Plan,ganize, supervise manufacturing operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, cost objectives.
2. MonitKPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), throughput, downtime.
3. Ensure adherence to production plans adjust resources (labor, materials, equipment) as needed.
Process Improvement:
1. Identify bottlenecks implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen methodologies to improve efficiency.
2. Lead initiatives to reduce waste, optimize workflows, enhance equipment utilization.
3. Collaborate with engineering maintenance teams to upgrade processes technology.
4. Manage operational budgets, including labor, materials, maintenance expenses.
5. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality safety.
Safety & Environmental Compliance:
1. Ensure products meet quality standards customer specifications.
2. Enforce compliance with safety regulations (OSHA), GMP, ISO, other industry standards.
3. Address non-conformities implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
4. Promote a zero-incident culture through safety training audits.
5. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (e.g., waste disposal, emissions).
Supervise develop Production/Manufactory team

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1.Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing), Business Management, related field. MBA is a plus.
2.Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing operations in MNC, with 3+ years in a leadership role
CERTIFICATION/OTHER SKILLS ABILITIES
1. Excellent problem-solving
2. Excellent communication interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work under pressure meet tight deadlines.
4. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP,acle).
5. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, Six Sigma.

Key Responsibilities
1、Design, build deploy AI/ML models fuse cases such as production scheduling, dispatch optimization, predictive maintenance quality forecasting.
2、Work cross-functionally with Production, IT, Equipment Process teams to establish robust data pipelines end-to-end intelligent solutions.
3、Implement model-performance monitoring continuous-improvement loops to guarantee stability, explainability scalability.
REQUIRED:
1、Bachelor’s degree above in Computer Science, Automation, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research related field; Master’s preferred
2、2+ years hands-on experience applying AI/ML in manufacturing; familiar with scheduling algorithms (e.g.,-Tools, CP-SAT, reinforcement learning).
3、Proficient in Python/C++; experienced with TensorFlow/PyTorch/Scikit-learn; comfortable with SQL, time-series databases big-data platforms.
4、Solid programming skill in either C# JAVA
5、Solid understanding of MES, ERP APS interfaces; background in semiconductor, with programming experience with PLC is a plus.
6、Strong problem-solving communication skills
PREFERRED:
1、English proficiency is preferred
2、Project management experience is a plus
